Hi, I’m Bonnie!
I’m a biomedical designer and visual storyteller based in Toronto, Canada. Currently, I am completing my Master’s in Biomedical Communication at the University of Toronto (EGD 2025).
During my undergrad, I spent the majority of my academic career focused on my interest in healthcare and anatomy. It wasn’t until I began working in a clinical research laboratory that I discovered the importance of scientific communication.
Exposure to both patient interactions and clinical research made it apparent to me that there was a large disconnect between how information was presented by the science community and how it was interpreted by lay audiences.
As someone who is fluent in both science and visual design, I aim to bridge the gap in science communication through interactive tools and engaging visuals, making complex information accessible and exciting for diverse audiences.
